Kasa Smart Plug Ultra Mini 15A EP10P2, Wi-Fi Outlet, 2-Pack

Kasa•Under $30•4.5 / 5 (40859)

Quick verdict

The cheapest sensible entry into smart home: two UL-certified plugs for $14, no hub, works with both Alexa and Google. The catch is real - 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, and it is an on/off switch, not an energy monitor or dimmer.

Summary

A two-pack of compact 15A Wi-Fi smart outlets that work with Alexa and Google Home without a hub, with scheduling, countdown timers and remote control from the Kasa app, UL certified, on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only.

Best for

Anyone wanting lamps, fans or holiday lights on a schedule or voice control, on either Alexa or Google Home, without buying a hub.

Not ideal for

Apple HomeKit households - Kasa EP10 does not support it. And if you want per-device energy monitoring, this model has none; look at Kasa's EP25 instead.

Key features

Decision-friendly highlights instead of raw spec overload.

Works with both Alexa and Google Home - unlike Amazon's own plug, which is Alexa-only.

No hub required: plug in, connect over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, control from the Kasa app anywhere.

Schedules and countdown timers automate lamps, fans, humidifiers and holiday lights.

Ultra-mini design leaves the second outlet free; UL certified with a 2-year warranty; 6M+ Kasa users.

Limit: 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only (mesh routers with band steering can trip setup), and there is no energy monitoring or dimming.
