Amazon Basics Stereo 2.0 Speakers for PC or Laptop with Volume Control, 3.5mm Aux Input, USB-Powered, 1 Pair, Black
Amazon Basics•Under $30•4.4 / 5 (82457)
Quick verdict
A sensible upgrade from tinny monitor or laptop audio for desks and dorms; the compact drivers can't produce real bass, so music lovers will outgrow them.
Summary
Amazon Basics stereo 2.0 speaker pair for PC or laptop. USB-powered with a 3.5mm aux input, in-line volume control, blue LED accents, and a padded metal base. Sold by Amazon.
Best for
Students, home-office workers, and anyone who wants louder, clearer audio for calls and casual listening without an amp or driver setup.
Not ideal for
Bass-heavy music listeners and gamers chasing positional audio — they'll want a 2.1 system or a headset, which this simple pair can't replace.
Key features
Decision-friendly highlights instead of raw spec overload.
USB-powered — draws power directly from the PC, no wall outlet or adapter needed
3.5mm aux input works with laptops, desktops, and older phones
In-line volume control on the cable for quick adjustments
Padded, scratch-free metal base sits cleanly on a desk
Limitation: no dedicated subwoofer, so the low end stays thin at higher volumes
